June 8 - Sept 28 Monongahela Farmer's Market  Held in Chess Park.  3-6 pm on Fridays.  Organized by the Salon & Spa by Chaney's Natural LLC.
   
   
September 26 Historical Society Presentation:  "The Whiskey Rebellion and the Role of the Miller Brothers” by Mary Pat Swauger representing the Oliver Miller Homestead7:00 PM.  Chapel of the 1st Presbyterian  Church, 609 Chess  Street, Monongahela, PA 15063. Enter through the Sixth Street side of the building. The presentation  will overview the Whiskey Rebellion and center in on the role of the Miller brothers. September 29 "On your MARC" 5K Run/Walk.  Chess Park at 9 a.m.
   
September 29 Chili Cook-off at Rippels on the Creek.  Sponsored by the Monongahela Area Historical Society.  $5 Admission.  Call 724-258-3824 for additional information.
   
October 6 Fall Fleatique on the Mon.  Main Street in Monongahela & New Eagle 8 am until 3 pm. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. 724-258-5919 www.monongahelaareachamber.org
   
October 12, 13, 20 20th Annual Historic Monongahela Ghostwalk.  Sponsored by the Monongahela Area Historical Society.  This is the 20th year!  Cost $10.  Meets in Chess Park.  Call 724-258-6432 for reservations.  www.monongahelahistoricalsociety.com
   
   
October 13 1st Annual Wizard Festival.  Held at the Monongahela Aquatorium.  Sponsored by Aquatorium Innovations.  Vendors, games, activities, costumes.  10 am until 6 pm.  Held rain or shine.  Family friendly and fun for all.  $10 Admission.  Additional attraction includes the educational vessel Explorer featuring "Fantastic Invertebrates and Where to Find Them".  Additional information is available at www.monaquatorium.org
   
October 19 Murder/Mystery Dinner "The Captain's Last Descent".  Riverboat Captain David Longwell has been found dead!  Sponsored by the Monongahela Area Historical Society.  Held at Rippel's on the Creek. $35 per person.  Cash Bar.  Call 724-258-2377 for reservations or additional information.  www.monongahelahistoricalsociety.com

October 25 Annual Banquet of the Monongahela Area Historical Society - Speaker Angelo Ripepi. (Open to members and non-members)  Mr. Ripepi will share stories about growing up in Gallatin, PA. The banquet will be held at the Lombardi Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Cost is $25 for members and non-members. October 26, 27 Third Annual Witch Festival.  Held at the Monongahela Aquatorium.  Sponsored by Aquatorium Innovations.  Two day festival.  Oct 26 is family friendly.  Oct 27 is adults (18+) only.  Additional information is available at www.monaquatorium.org
   
November 16 Santa Claus is Shopping in Town.  5pm until 9 pm.  Main Street Monongahela and New Eagle.
